Last night’s Live Arts Gala afterparty, Afterglow, lived up to the hype πŸ™‚

I decided to go with a black and white ensemble. This off-the shoulder dress with pleated bottom has been hanging in my closet for some time now and this was the perfect time to pull it out and show it off. I paired it with a BCBG belt and some black tights (It was pretty chilly outside!). My friends bared the cold with gorgeous blush pink dresses (that were vintage!). After a few drinks at the apartment and then Zocalo, we were off to the party.

And the dress twirled!!!

The party itself was spectacular. The $50 ticket got us an open bar all night with top shelf liquor (drinks were sooooo strong), two dance floors with different djs and performers, food provided by Cafe Cubano and other restaurants, and a whole coffee/breakfast room.

The performers and decorations were amazing! We even got a glowing glass for our drinks when we walked in

What a night!

Today, instead of going for a long run outside which is what I really want to do, I am in the library. I’ve got some deadlines coming up and I want to get a lot of work done this week before I head to New York City this weekend to go out with my twin sis for our bdays!!!! πŸ™‚
